There are many brands of feminism. This is mine.
My goals with this blog is to collect and share my thoughts and feelings about feminism and equality in general. I respect your right to have different opinions from mine and as long as you respect mine, we should get along quite well. I don’t claim to know everything and hope that you correct me when you deem it necessary.
I identify myself as a socialist, an activist, and a feminist. But please keep in mind that my definitions of these words may differ from yours.
To put it simply, my personal definition of feminism includes: complete gender equality, rights and accessibility to abortions for all, the right to choose (whether or not to shave, have an abortion, have sex, get married, have kids, etc. etc.) and most importantly, fighting to make these ideals realities. I’m a realistic idealist and understand the struggles we face and the struggles we must continue to face in order to reach equality. I believe that no human being is worth more than any other and all should be treated as such. This is a very simplified description of my beliefs, you can easily learn more by following me or asking questions.
But this blog is not about me. It’s about the beauty of equality.
